- Enter your dashboard after logging in or using the Dashboard button at the top of the page.
- In the black “Add New Recipes” bar click the white plus button.
- Add a description, select tags that describe your recipe, and choose Private or Public for the recipe. The name of the recipe will be extracted from the file name of the document.
- Drag the PDF's or picture(s) of your recipe(s) into the box or click “Browse” and select them. After adding, they will automatically add the recipe(s) into your account. If a picture can be extracted from the PDF document, then it will be used as the thumbnail image. Multiple recipes can be selected at one time.
- From the Dashboard, if the "Add New Recipes" panel is not expanded, click on the plus icon to do so.
- At the bottom left-hand corner of the panel, click on the link that says "Additional Options".
- Enter all the recipe information in the corresponding fields, add a picture and linked document if you like and click on the "Add Recipe>>" link in the bottom right hand corner of the panel.
- Add recipes into your queue by clicking the plus button on a recipe.
- Click the top right button that looks like a newspaper to access your queue.
- From there click “Generate Index Cards”, this will generate an “index card” for each recipe in your queue that you can print out and scan with a Smart Phone to pull up that recipe. The index cards are formatted to fit on Avery 5388.
- Private recipes will only be seen on your account or those you share or collaborate with, they will not be seen by other users.
- Public recipes can be seen by other users and added to their recipe inventories. These recipes can be shared successfully on social media or by email.
- When on your dashboard, hover over the recipe you would like to edit and a gray circle with a pencil will appear.
- Click that pencil and a pop-up will appear with your current recipe information.
- From there you can edit all aspects of the recipe, and click “Save Changes” to update it, or “Delete Recipe” to delete it from the site.
- *You are only permitted to edit and delete recipes you added to the site.
To the left of the search bar there is a box that will be titled “My Cookbook”, if you want to search inside your cookbook leave that as the default. If you would like to search all recipes change that to “All Public” and it will allow you to search the public library.
